Today we are going to do some writing. I would like you to write a 1 page paper on solving equations. You are writing this to explain to someone in 5th grade. Use the following outline:
Paragraph 1 – Explain why you need to solve equations. What you are trying to do in all these equations.
Paragraph 2 – go through all the steps in solving an equation and describe what you need to do in all these steps.
Paragraph 3 – Make up an example problem and solve it using the steps.
Paragraph 4 – Talk about tips or tricks that you think would help when solving equations.
We will use google docs to complete this assignment. Click HERE to sign into your google account. Go into your email and look at the top left. Click on the work “documents.” Then click on “new” and go down to “document” You can start writing just like you would in a word document.
